The 651 acre park sits atop an out-cropping of serpentine stone
greater then one square mile in size – one of the largest serpentine barrens
on the East Coast. A popular picnicking park, which offers nine pavilions, as well as informal picnic areas, play lots and rugged trails. Fishing is available in two ponds for bass and pan fish.
